This baked breakfast apple crumble recipe I made with the American Heart Association Puget Sound is absolutely delicious. Just like the next-level poached pear recipe we shared before, this seems indulgent enough for dessert, but perfect for a hearty breakfast!
I started making this recipe for my kids when they were little. In fact, this recipe is one of the first ones my kids started making on their own! They even make it as a snack occasionally. I love it myself as a heart, comforting breakfast on a cold morning.
Plenty of that crumbly, delicious topping we all love!

+Color: We encourage you to enjoy one more color a day to your current diet. This small change can really add up to a healthier heart! “One cup every day extra for the next 20 years, that’s a whole lot of nutrition,” said Lanette Kovachi, R.D.N., head global dietitian for +color sponsor Subway.
